It does. I never said I couldn't read PDFs, I just said it was excruciatingly slow on my ancient computer (G3/350 from 1999, trudging along on OS X 10.4). BTW, Adobe Reader sucks on Mac, too. The built-in Preview app is much better.

PDFMeNot.com is a good online PDF viewer.  Just type in the document's URL or upload it from your box.
