What happened Monday in Keene.

for those without You Tube access:  The bailiff called "All Rise", judge came in, looked at people not standing, immediately turned and went back into the chamber.

This is great. What is the context? Whose trial was it? Did he return and continue the trial, and could there possibly be another reason he went back, like he forgot his underwear?

thats priceless.

send that egomaniac criminal in black back into his hole.

LOL

kola

what a circus act by da judge.

how did it come up with lowering the fine to 88 dollars and some odd change?

does he just pick numbers at random?

what a kangaroo court justice? system.

Makes one wonder what was discussed behind those closed doors.  Seems when the judge re-emerged, he was suddenly intent on ignoring the obvious show of dissent.

Could it be that one or more of his minions has been reading this forum?  I find it very hard to believe that any of them think deeply enough about matters to realize that ignoring us is the single most powerful thing they can do to defend against us, and when that is not feasible, diffusing the situation as much as possible has the same effect (case in point: The judge's carefully crafted sentence for David).  That has, however, been repeatedly pointed out on this forum.

If they did sufficient thinking of their own to realize that much, it would soon lead them to quit their criminal-natured jobs.

They did do at least one thing that was quite counterproductive for them, something that -- to my knowledge -- was never mentioned on the forums.  Those who were present with us after the trial know what I am talking about.  Think I'll just leave it that way... and let the agents of force obsess over what exactly I am referring to >:D

David

When he looked over into the courtroom audiance and saw us not standing, I could swear that he looked at Lauren or myself, then walked back in.  We had both done the same in U turn Daves trial, he may have remembered us.

dalebert

There wasn't nearly as much gnashing of teeth over our not standing up in this trial compared to Lauren's. The reaction of the security people in the room was quite comical then. You'd have thought the sky was falling. There were whispers of "She ought to have them arrested the next time they refuse to stand up!" Of course the judge ignored us, which was probably smart.

David

That is the classic if we gotta do it, so should they.

Beth221

what would happen if he walked into everyone already standing, and when the "all rise" order was given, you sit?  Or, when you see the judge enter, sit down?

I wonder what he thought when no one rose, hehehe.

You keene folks got balls!

dalebert

The "all rise" is given just before he walks in usually.

kola

"all rise" huh?

should we take a bit of viagra for his request?

ZIPPPPPPPPPPPP!

David

The courts are not used to dealing with resistance.
They were not at all prepared for me to tell them I wouldn't pay.
I went to 2 of Dadaorwells hearings, and both time we refused to stand.  But this is really the first time I have ever actually commited a direct act of civil dis. beyond showing solidarity for Dada.
I was really surprized at the terrific turnout, considering the turnout for U turn Daves trial was smaller, and my registration refuseniking is not a huge issue most are passionate about.
The Keene (area) people make me proud.   :)
