When in the course of human events it becomes
necessary for one fat bastard to separate the
bands that have connected him with good folk.
Respect for their thoughts and opinions, require
him to list the causes for this separation.

The causes have nothing to do with any but him self.
Said fat bastard is out of control.
He is not on a path to NH nor up to any good.

Since he cannot do things in a small way
drastic action is necessary.

After today, for the next 8 weeks he will be
boot camping his ass.
There will be no ciggs. no beer. no computer
no junk food.

There will be rearranging of budget.
The whittling down of crap not needed.
I will start to get in shape or die.

If I don't die. I will see and talk to you all
in June.

If for some reason, folks think I need to be
contacted. Kat, Lloyd and a few others have my number.
Or you can shine the porcupine light over Long Island
Sound and I will come a running.

Be good to each other while I am gone.

Good luck, PatK!  Our little world here will be a little darker with you gone.

Ditto from me and mine Pat...  :)

Pat, that sounds awfully drastic!  Why not just bite off ONE of those things at a time?  Believe me, I understand the urge to try to radically improve oneself ASAP, but maybe a little patience is called for...

I know how he feels.  it's easier for me to make a drastic change than a lot of little ones.
