Question for Luke S

I'm puzzled.  You started a thread on 4/10 at 3:47PM NHFT about seeing a car with NH plates 'nhfree' in Ohio, to which I replied on 4/11 at 12:59PM NHFT that the car belonged to my son - and didn't name him.  Unbeknownst to me, on 4/10 at 11:18PM NHFT you wrote in entirely different thread, 'Questions for the Free State Project People,' that you knew whose car it was...

Luke is starting to sound like an incoherent troll. Either that or Dave Ridley randomly took a trip to Ohio to scope out Luke's house... Roll Eyes

No I'm not an incoherent troll. And in fact I found out exactly who owns that car I was talking about earlier. And no, it's not Dave Ridley. The car is owned by a man named Tyler Stearns. Here is his blog: http://tylerstearns.blogspot.com. Here is a photograph of him standing next to his car, and you can clearly see the license plate that says "NHFREE": http://tylerstearns.blogspot.com/2007/08/ron-paul-wins-strafford-straw-poll.html

How in the world would you know that?  My son says he doesn't know who you are.  He wasn't even driving his car that day - a female friend was.

A number of people on this forum suspect you're a troll.  I'm suspicious that you're something/someone else entirely.  Please explain.

Jan, first of all they don't suspect I'm a troll, they've declared me a troll. And thus there really ain't nothin' I can do to absolve myself of that.

Anyway, I had no idea if there was a law against taking a picture of that car, but I knew if there was, and it was one of these guys' cars, I was going to be in some hot water since a lot of them really don't like me.

So I didn't take a picture of it, and the car left, and then I suspected that perhaps, on the off chance, the car might belong to a college student who is sympathetic to you guys. So I punched in "Kenyon NHFree" into Google, on the off chance that the owner might be some sort of a political activist and have a site with pictures of his political activism. Lo and behold, the first thing that comes up is this weblog called tylerstearns.blogspot.com, and I looked all over the blog, and lo and behold, there was the car that I had seen.

That's really all I know.

What is this "they" business?

I am a member of this forum, and I take exception to being treated as if I were a part of a greater whole. I am nothing but an individual, an independently functioning unit by nature, who associates with certain other individuals by choice. The same is true of everyone else who posts here, regardless of whatever "collective" they may fancy themselves a "part" of.

Speaking as an individual, I have never declared you a troll, or even considered you a troll. The fact that you asked a lot of personal questions from the beginning, rather than hanging out and testing the waters like most new members or prospective members, made me curious about your motives -- but at no point have I considered you a troll.

When you truly understand the supremacy of the individual, and learn to reject all collectivist nonsense, at that point you will truly begin to understand the implications of genuine freedom.

The logical antecedent of the pronoun "they" in this case would be the people whom Jan said suspected I was a troll. This is made apparent by the fact that I quoted Jan before using the word "they", specifically the sentence
Quote from: JanA number of people on this forum suspect you're a troll.
