Tax Freedom Day is the day based on the day when you've stopped working for the government and are finally working for yourself. All your income (roughly averaged across the population) up to TFD goes to pay taxes. I think it might be too conservative. Is it just referring to income taxes or are things like sales tax, registrations, fines, etc. figured in?
