Brilliant!  A nice big mirror!  I bet the JBTs would smash the morrors with rubber bulletts, scare the rest of the goons and mow down the rest of the mob with real bulletts!
   Let me show you how to make our own particle guns  (hypatheticly) with microwave emitters  from microwave ovens, some conical glass tubing, mirrors and some really cool shielding, it can burn through a piece of plywood, cook eyes, and soft tissue, cause lukemia, and do all sorts of stuff they are going to do to the mob.!!!!!!  Fun fun fun!!!

EMP guns are a bit more difficult to build but Microwaves are everywhere.  I bet you could hotrod a microwave emitter to fry circuts but you'd have to have one big emitter with enough energy, stored in a capacer, tazer like but with some serious watage to get the job done, then you'd have to focus it without hurting the people in the front of the line of "scrmmage", all under the nose of the JBTs.  It might be truck mounted.?????

I don't think it really works that way.
From what I understand, it emits high frequency electromagnetic radiation. Its like a Hulda Clark zapper (for people) and a microwave had a love child.
I think you would be able to shield yourself with some kind of conductor material like silver, copper or aluminum.

At least 60 minutes is reporting alarm at the fact it would be use domestically. The non-chalance at which "anti-government protesters" like "tax evaders" would be targeted makes me sick. Threatening penalties is one thing, small scale cooking is another.

You don't want a vehicle-mounted EMP; they're omnidirectional, which means your vehicle will stop too, and you can't put enough lead around your vehicle without losing so much power and fuel economy as to make it virtually undrivable.

What you can do is mount a HERF gun, which can be directed. The tradeoff is the effects of the HERF gun are temporary, rather than permanent.

Yep.  The stereotypical "aluminum foil" method would work, especially if it was connected to a grounding strap in a shoe so charges don't build up.   Of course this just means that those who don't run from the agonizer are the ones to target with real bullets.

In a video I saw of it the reporter guy used a piece of plywood, which worked but didn't cover his feet.
So what you need is a full body covering of some kind.
