Crash Shea-Porter's propaganda events Saturday!

(Here's a chance to take some real action everybody. Technically not civil disobedience but very much in that spirit.)

Two sham town meetings are coming up this Saturday. There's one at the Manchester Public Library at 2PM and one at Hooksett Cawley Middle School at 4:30.

Why is this important? Because although these are billed as constituent events they are actually political infomercials made at taxpayer expense and under false pretenses. Notice will appear on her Website very late if at all. She sends franked postcards to addresses she believes to be her supporters For the most part she's right but a few go to non-supporters by mistake. That's how I found out about this one.

What happens at these meetings is she fields planted friendly questions and speechifies to them at length, sometimes over 14 minutes! If by chance anything other than a friendly question gets asked she replies either with a relatively brief evasion or a blow off. The format is that of a kindergarten classroom and her attitude is appropriate to such. She sits at a desk and calls on people at her pleasure, between lectures.

Don't accept the role of a compliant child! These are billed as 'town meetings'. It seems to be the most honorable way to defeat her purpose would be to take her at her word! Go there, ask tough questions, get her responses (NOT answers!) on video record. But only residents of her district should attempt to ask questions so WE will be above reproach.

I'd also like to know why she voted against reprimanding Jack Murtha.

That's for starters. Her every evasion will raise further questions but don't expect an opportunity to follow up. If enough real questioners are there then the next one to get called on can ask the followup. This way we can highlight her evasiveness and dis-ingenuousness.

Independent candidate Peter Bearse will also be there. She knows his face now so its unlikely he'll get called on. But he's worth talking to.

You may get shouted down by her supporters. It happened to me in Epping.

It is a waste of time going because it is a phone conference and Politicians every time I go to one use it to answer questions that they want to answer and avoid those questions that acutally question them.
