I said I was going to start posting topical single-panel political cartoons as part of my blog, so here you go. I think this qualifies as not political because I am just ripping on a politician. This is not meant to be any kind of statement of support for her opposition. :)

I would appreciate if someone would submit to Digg using the convenient button below the entry. :D

Unfortunately, she will probably try again some day.

If I were Obama I wouldn't want her for a vice president...I'd be afraid for my life  :o

If Obama wins, she will be 68 before she gets another shot. She might still look presentable, but it's unlikely that Bill will, and he will be a constant reminder of her age.

I think this is the end of Hillary Clinton's political career. Unless she gets selected as VP, which Obama would have to be a real idiot to do. I have always considered it very unsafe to be the only thing standing in the way of a Clinton and power.

I wish you'd post that on my blog.  >:D

Presidential election every four years regardless...
The tendency of the party is to go with an incumbent... but its not required.

We sit back and recognize her as a statist, and see it as a bad thing. That said, with Bob Barr as the closest thing to a "Republican", Ron Paul the closest thing to a Libertarian and a large portion of the Hillary supporters pushed aside by the Obama Democrats, is he willing to risk the potential defecters to John McCain? Surely someone who feels "hurt" by Obama but still considers themselves "socially liberal" might consider siding with McCain than Obama UNLESS there's an Obama/Clinton ticket.

Everything's screwed up. He'd be insane to do it, which is why he might just do it... Nothing else this cycle makes any damn sense...

I apologize. It appears I've inspired a political discussion.

View it more as a three ring circus, with everyone picking they're favorite clown. It will make you feel better.

Otosan

An Idea to make you go screaming into the night:

Obama gets elected as president, house and senate goes demoncrate, and Obama  puts Hillary on the SC!

Actually, JEM is onto something there. Once you've renounced politics, it really does all just look like a big circus and it begins to feel more and more irrelevant who happens to be in there at the moment. I don't feel like she would make things particularly worse than anyone else politically. I just find her so personally repugnant that I delighted a little bit in her failure.

So how long before we can Digg the three ring circus comic?  >:D

I'd expected a hypocritical congratulation to Obama, and hoped it would slip out that she thought he was a credit to the race . . .

Shortly after her initial announcement a year and a half ago, I found that a song had, all unbidden, wormed its way into my mind.  This song [CAVEAT EMPTOR--it's the most frightening scene I've ever viewed in a movie]:

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=EdM8PDu6VMg

From that point on, I had only to hear her name or see her photograph to get it running through my head again.  Eventually new lyrics began to suggest themselves:

The newspaper outlets are liberal-owned
And so is the network TV
All Hollywood talent is DNC cloned
Tomorrow belongs to me

The public schools brainwash with liberal themes
The churches prod God to agree
Their influence pales next to academe's
Tomorrow belongs to me

Compassion?  Community?
Don't be absurd!
The Village, of course, is DC
And you are the child--now mind my word:
Tomorrow belongs to me

Now that parody is completely useless--and I couldn't be happier!
