I ran my space heater in my room last night and thought about turning on the heat after I got up. It was 66 in my place.

Puke

I haven't had the heat on since May.
And now it's into the suck part of year.

What, you don't keep snowballs in the freezer for the first 90 degree days of summer?

I completely agree.  I don't know why people whine about New Hampshire winters; it's the summers that blow.   :'( (those are drops of sweat, not tears)

Since the average temps in the summer are lower than what we had today (and watch out, tomorrow will be much worse!), I can deal with the summer OK, even if I won't enjoy most of the weather.  When it's in the 90's and very humid like today was, it's just miserable, plain and simple.  Fortunately it's likely there will be only a handful of days like this in NH's short warm season.

I'm with Friday, Puke, and Porcupine: hot/humid weather sucks, and I prefer the winters.  By far.

Your point about the price of oil is certainly true though.  I'm considering other supplementary heating options for my home next year.  Even at $3-4/gal for heating oil, those 275 gallon fill-ups weren't fun.
