"While it allows the security screeners -- looking at the images in a separate room -- to clearly see the passenger's sexual organs as well as other details of their bodies, the passenger's face is blurred"

Oh well, THAT makes it ok then - what a load off my mind!    ::)

Creeps.

Maybe some of you remember in your childhood the comic books had ads in the back for special
x-ray glasses where you were supposed to be able to see through stuff?  I never was able to convince my parents to let me buy a pair...little did we know 40 years later this would be real.

This airport security voyeurism is interesting.  If seeing under somebody's clothes is no big deal, maybe we should all just wear nothing at airports, except a face mask to protect our modesty? How about having naked pictures of all the airport security being posted on the walls, if they want to they can blur the faces. Then while travelers are passing their time waiting for their next flight they can try and guess which body belongs to which security personnel.  A free plane ticket for the highest score? Tit for tat?  ;D

I wonder is they realize that every sex addict, and sex offender in the nation will apply for the job.   ::)

I thought it would drive the notion home to see how sensitive those scanners are.
