It's looking like I probably won't be able to go up there tonight, and Saturday doesn't look too promising.  If someone is going through Strafford County Saturday morning and heading back Saturday night, I would be interested in a ride up there and back.  I have so much stuff that I need to take care of this weekend that I don't think I can take more than a day for this.

1st Burning Porcupine Work Party Weekend and Summer Solstic Celebration (FBPWPWSSC) June 20th,21st, and 22nd.

Just FYI, tonight is also the Hobbiton Pot Luck Dinner @ The Compound. Is that were people should meet? Or are you having a competing gathering at the Effbeepwoopwussk (Burning Porcupine Work Party Weekend and Summer Solstic Celebration)?

Burning Porcupine is this weekend?  I thought it was in July.  Why am I confused?  Oy.

Edit: Okay, so this solstice celebration thing is like a festival preview/building project?

So no naked fire dance this weekend?  ;)

We have those daily, all year round, in Grafton. Someone, somewhere is doing it around these parts. It's just a given.

It looks like I won't be able to make it up there at all this weekend.  Too many things have come up that I need to work on.

Bummer.  I won't be able to make this.  Gotta get some rest.
Hope to see you all soon.

Gloria and I stopped by to say howdy. We then went over to Liberty Lane to see a few more folks but nobody came to see what our horn was about.

Tell me about it.  I knocked on the door of the Compound. Then I let myself in (hey, it's New Hampshire!).  Then I bellowed repeatedly.  I know someone was there, but he ignored me.   :P  Fortunately, Bob was in his tool warehouse and gave me directions to the 1BPWPW&SSC.

What an idyllic spot, sweet wild strawberries, flocks of fireflies, meadows of warm grass, and a swimming hole with cool water.  I was going to thank everyone who showed up, but I'll bet they already got thanked with time spent in such pleasant locale.

We got some stuph done and had fun.
Kira has lots of pictures.
Dada will have video.
