You saw him too? Damn, I thought I was seeing things.

Rocketman

Hey y'all,

Here I am, sitting in my office in Kentucky, getting ready for another semester (my last, I hope).? After spending a week in the Free State, I know it's only a matter of time before I join you folks.? Definitely by this time next year, unless an anvil drops from the sky and falls on my head.? Sooner if I can pull it off.

It was great meeting all you folks I hadn't met yet, and great to see those of you I had met already.? I'll be coming home to NH soon, and I talked to lots of people at Porcfest who are now planning to move sooner than later.

Mike, sorry you couldn't make it up to Lancaster.? Sid and I would have called if we were anywhere near Newmarket... anyway, I won't be away for long!? ?:D? Y'all keep NH semi-free until I get there to help!

By way of a bump...  ;D

Texas doesn't suck quite so bad tonight. The official temp right now is 10F cooler than in Keene (don't forget the time difference!). Heck, we're even colder than Berlin, and it's supposed to snow there!

You've heard of Three Dog Night... this is a 3 cat night. All three of our cats are inside, because they know it's going to hit 25F tonight. Of course our four dogs (+1 foster) are inside, because they're big ol' sluts.

Alas, this is "winter" in NE Texas. It will warm up, and the rest of "winter" will mean a day of 35F and freezing rain, followed by a week of sunny and 70-85F, followed by a foot of snow, then more 70+, and my azaleas will be completely confused before February.

<--- check my mood. Says it all.  :'(

Pat K

It was 74 deg. here yesterday, today the high is supposed to be 48.

Kat Kanning

Yeah, I was teasing my mom that she needed to leave TX and come up here where it's warm!   ;D

polyanarch

The thermometer outside says 17 and there is 3" of snow on the yard.  Welcome to Wisconsin.

Kat Kanning

Move to NH where it's warm!   :D
