Quote from: 'John Edward Mercier'What kind of Chevy do you have?

2003 Malibu.

Quote from: 'error'My Coca-Cola comes in 2-liter bottles. And to make this vaguely relevant, I own a 9mm handgun.

I'm a child of the internet. :) I've been using computers my entire life (literaly, plaid Arthur games on the Macs in Kindergarten) and been getting my porn online since before the average person could tell you what AOL was, let alone that it sucked.

That said, I think in English, but prefer metric most of the time. I have several 20 gram silver pieces. I'm a fan of the 9mm myself and like thinking of temperature as "percent of boiling". :)

Thanks for answering!  I'm still on a search for a 77' Chevy Nova.  I wish I never got rid of mine.

I found one for sale on craigslist for $400 so I called but the driver's side body frame needs to be welded together and the guy has no title for it.  There were some other things wrong to but I don't want any car where the frame has been messed up, it was something I could afford too, darn!

NH doesn't issue titles for cars over 10 years old. When you find one you like a bill of sale is all you need. I think there is evem one on the back of the registration - if the car is registered. Otherwise a handwritten BoS is good enough.

Oh, thanks!  What's your opinion about the frame needing to be welded back together on the driver's side?  I'm not even sure if the car is still available but I'm just curious.

Not for me. There are other Novas out there in better condition for a reasonable price.

Where?  I can't seem to find any, on craigslist they are in the high thousands or the cheap ones need tons of work.  Back in '92 I got my Nova for $600 and it was perfect except for a hole in the driver's floor which Rick put a piece of metal over it.

Well I wasn't able to get rainey's first post in here during a split topic. Can someone move that one in here? Please?

Well, it may not be available today, but it will be sometime. If you want one today then you would have to settle for one that needed welding and probably frame straightening.

Are you looking for specific year? Motor? Model? You also may need to go further afield than NH.

I wanted a Mercedes diesel vehicle when I was in CT but I didn't want to spend more than $1000. I waited and found an 85 wagon for $1100 - yes, I bought it at that price. It was in very good running condition without rust on the body. I looked for 2 years before I found that.

For example I see two in CT for sale.

1978 4-door with 6-cyl 50 engine - $650.00 - private seller.

1977 2-door with V8 350 engine - $3,995 - Dealer.

Of course there is the 72 for $38,000 and the 67 SS Pro Street for $15,900. But I don't think you are looking for those.  ;D

The reason I was looking in CT is that is where I found a very good selling site to find vehicles:

Thanks Pat and Kat for splitting the thread.   Wow, I'd like to check into that $650 Nova, thanks Pat!

Don't look funny to me.

Wow, what a beauty!  I'm looking for a '76- '79 Chevy Nova.  The one Russell posted a picture of is exactly why I want a certain year not the one in the picture.  What year is that anyway?
