Anyone still looking to get to DC.

We have an RV with four double beds. We currently have 2 couples and one single man in our group. We have room for 1-3 more people depending on sleeping arrangements.

The plan is head out tomm (Friday), take our time getting there and do a historical tour with a possible stop at Foxwoods. We will arrive in DC early Sat morn, check in and head to the rally. We are staying here http://www.cherryhillpark.com/ Sat and Sun night.

With 6 people the cost of fuel and lodging comes to about $150 pp. If we get 7-8 that will go down slightly. We will arrive back in NH late Monday. If this fits your schedule / pocketbook, call me now.

so you're actually going to voluntarily enter Washington, D.C.  That's hardcore, man.  Mad respect.

Wow, that's one powerful video.

I gotta say, even though as a voluntaryist I don't prefer political means nor support the idea of replacing one government with another, the significance of Ron Paul's campaign (which is apparently undieing even after his withdrawal) is in that he actually managed to motivate a huge amount of people to think again about their freedom, and by all means it is much easier to convert a Ron Paul style libertarian to voluntaryism than it is someone who just doesn't care and is some democrat, republical or whatever, by default, right?

So I have to give kudos to Ron Paul for what he's done. If he were to win the elections maybe the government wouldn't be abolished, but at the very least its continued growth may be stalled or it may even be downsized, and it's again easier to disobey a smaller than a larger government.

The only danger that would exist is that if government would really become seemingly less benign some people might be more hesitant to accepting abolishment.

But all this said, kudos to everyone going to that March. I'll be keeping my eyes wide open for the news of what will be happening. Make some noise! Let the bigwigs know that the masses are paying attention and that they do care about their freedoms and that they wont stand still as they're being ripped off!

I only wish something equivalent was happening in Europe...
