Now I can't even access my regular email while I'm using Firefox!  What the heck is going on?

I used to love Firefox when I began using it but a year later everything is getting messed up!  Does anyone think if I uninstall Firefox and the reinstall it that will fix the problem?

I'm not a Windows user, so I'm not to sure but I don't think your problem is Firefox. I'm willing to bet that there are other underlying issues, like spyware or some kind of content filter that's breaking stuff.

Any geeks live near you that might be willing to do a system clean up for you?

Nope, none that I know!   I have a pretty good anti-spyware program.  Maybe I need to do a scandisk repair?

Which version of Firefox are you using?  Version 3 just came out, which is absolutely amazing.  If you're using any other version, I strongly recommend you upgrade.

I'm not sure.  I just know it's Mozzilla firefox, so how do I tell what version it is?    Thanks! :)

On the top Menu bar choose "Help" -> "About Firefox".

At least, that's where it is for me, though I recall options are different on Windows, but I THINK that's where it would be.

Are you sure you want to help me again? :biglaugh:

This is the message that pops up when I click to get on Firefox, so I guess I have the latest version, right?

Not necessarily.  Firefox updates itself for little things like security and bug fixes, but it doesn't automatically install updates for new versions.  How long ago was it that you installed what you currently have?  If you installed it before two weeks ago, you do not have version 3.  Here's the download link.  http://www.mozilla.com/en-US/products/download.html?product=firefox-3.0&os=win&lang=en-US

Thanks!  I'll do it tomorrow because I have too many files open right now and it says I must close them all first. Thanks again! :)
