Damn. I missed out on some good stuff.  :(

How about "police"?

Maybe we should have a tax collector tar and feathering. That may be too violent for some though, even if it is retaliatory/defensive. One of the nice things about the funerals is that they are totally non-violent.

Excuse me! Did you not see his head fly off?

Anyone have an appropriate sticker we could put on the coffin?

I would suggest "See?  We tried to do this peaceably," but you may not care for that one . . .
Hey .... I was just there for the grieving parties. I wasn't responsible for his demise.

You misunderstand.  For years, I've said that the only practical function of the Libertarian Party is to serve as evidence that . . . we tried to do this peaceably.  (I don't honestly see much hope for a peaceable achievement of liberty myself, though I'd cheerfully accept being proven wrong.)

Russell Kanning

aha .... I guess I don't get inside LP jokes :)

Kat Kanning

Anyone who was at the funeral want to give me a sentence or two about the experience?  I'm writing an article for the paper.

But!....But!... But what about my quote: "It had appeared to be dead for some time, but, recently had begun to smell really bad"?

And don't forget "His glasses were so rosey." Don't know who that guy was.

Russell Kanning

the front page article might make some diehard LP types go crazy. :)
