There were 2 porc 411 messages that were sent out in the msg0035 I heard the word lawyer and couldn't really make much else out. I looked up the number it came from and according to http://clubs.boisestate.edu/details/clubDetails.cfm?ID=1 the cell belonged to Brian Wood the VP of the 2nd amendment club in Boise State University.

If anyone knows Brian they might want to check up and make sure he is not dragged off to a gulag.

I couldn't decipher much, but I thought I heard "Not much, just out for a bike ride" near the beginning of the second message.

Possibly an open carry encounter? Nothing on opencarry.org yet...

It could be another one of those "accidental dials" Now that error has made it so there's no limit to the call, and silence doesn't end it, we could be seeing longer accidental calls. Did anyone just try calling the cell number?

edit: though it does sound like he's talking to an officer.  - "I respect you sir I don't want to cause any problems."

And it was from an Idaho area code cell phone. Anyone try calling the number?

K. Darien Freeheart

I called.

He was riding his bike in Idaho while open carrying. Officer circled around him a few times before pulling up and motioning him to come over. He called Porc411 to get it on record and says the officer was pretty cool, no guns drawn and no arrests.

He was a bit unsure if non-NH Porcs could/should be using the line. I recommended that he check out this site.

Well that is good to hear that he was not assaulted by the blue light gang and he did not loose too much time.

I suppose people outside NH could call Porc-411 (they already are, it seems) but if you aren't here in NH, then there isn't nearly as much that people here in NH will be able to do for you.

But as you've pointed out before, it's 411 (informational), not 911 (bring help now!)

True, but if you call Porc-411, and then the police, it's about 50/50 that a Free Stater will show up first.

If you're unable to listen to .wav files, including Porc 411 messages, and you're on Ubuntu, then here is a quick fix.

It worked for me. Had to re-boot after.

Well, fart knockers. It looks like my .wav files work now and every other sound does not work anymore. Back to the drawing board.

Actually, try this quick fix. :)

Also, Dale, you can use online file-converters like Media-Convert to change the messages into MP3 files.  This is what I've been doing.

You know you wouldn't have these problems if you would get a Mac.
