  If you guys could help with pot statistice, for instance, how much a person can smoke and still function, it would be pretty cool if we could all get into this action.

Depends on the person. My Dad had a girlfriend who couldn't function without it. She smoked it like it was cigarettes from the store.

I know when I smoked in highschool if I took any more than 3 hits I would be toast. Twas fun though.

  Look, The last part would have to be in the pot law for me to support it or we'll all be supporting a bunch of collage kids who just want to smoke all day and do nothing.

The better solution would be to eliminate the government disability payments.

I haven't touched pot in 25 years, but I was pretty lightweight. Didn't take much to turn me into a hungry, grinning couch monkey. I've always had a high tolerance for alcohol, though. I can drink 8-12 drinks over six hours in the course of an evening, without anyone thinking I'm even marginally impaired, much less smashed. (Disclaimer: I never, ever, drink and drive. Just wanted to make that clear.)

At the same time, I know someone who smokes pot on a very regular basis, and never gives the slightest outward indication of it having any effect. But drink half a glass of wine, and it's snooze city. Quite possibly right there under the kitchen table.

People have a huge range of reactions to various intoxicants. Statistics are useless.
