I love the steampunk-esque patina, but I have to admit I'd paint it Razorback Red, and put a pig tail on the back that spun around every time the brake lights lit up.

This seems about right.

The immense power of Bacon should only be wielded for the good!

We should institute three separate and equal bodies of men who would insure that 'The immense power of Bacon' is used only for 'The Good'.

Then bacon would never be used to write "PIG CHUMP" on the side walk ever again.

Bacon soda makes its debut

KUSA - For anyone worried they can't chew bacon fast enough, J&D foods and Jones soda have teamed up to find a liquid solution.

They combined the sugary carbonation of soda with the heart-clogging fattiness of bacon into one spectacularly unhealthy drink: bacon soda.

The pork-infused pop comes in a holiday pack, featuring two bottles of Jones bacon soda, bacon popcorn, bacon gravy, bacon salt and bacon lip balm. That's a whole lot of cholesterol for $9.99.

For those vegetarians out there, Jones is also releasing a Tofurky and gravy soda just in time for Thanksgiving.

OH NO!  Now somebody will probably start sprinkling bacon soda on mosques...

MAPLE-BACON ICE CREAM

3 ounces bacon, minced

4 cups whole milk

1/4 cup nonfat dry milk

1/3 cup heavy whipping cream

1/4 cup granulated sugar

12 large egg yolks

21/2 cups maple syrup

1. Cook the bacon in a large skillet until crispy, drain and cool on paper towels.

2. Fill a large bowl with ice and water.

3. Combine whole milk, dry milk and cream in a large saucepan and bring to a boil over medium heat. Remove from heat and set aside. Combine sugar and egg yolks in a large bowl and mix well. Slowly add the hot cream to the egg mixture in small portions to temper it, stirring constantly and being careful not to scramble the eggs.

4. Return the mixture to the saucepan and cook over medium heat, stirring constantly, until the mixture is thick enough to coat the back of a wooden spoon. Remove the pan from the heat and chill it over the ice water bath for 30 minutes. Once cooled, stir in the maple syrup.

5. Pour the mixture into an ice-cream maker and churn according to manufacturer's instructions. When churned, scoop it into a freezer-safe container and stir in bacon pieces. Freeze until ready to serve.

...how can we enjoy that wonderful meaty sweet and smokey aroma without the temptation and subsequent belt-busting and heart-clogging richness of actual cured-pork ingestion? Bacon scented candles, of course!
