The Manchester Open Carry Litter Pickup is back!  Starting this coming Sunday, the 14th @ 6PM in Veteran's Park.  Mark your calendars.  We'll meet up and begin at Veteran's Park at 6PM, and proceed down one of the more unsavory-looking eastbound thoroughfares, ending up at PorcManor for the Ice Cream Social at 8PM.  The goal is to be visible to the general populace both bearing arms and providing a helpful service to the community.

If you want to attend but have no heat to pack, an appropriate sidearm/holster can be furnished (let me know in advance). Anyone with a video camera would be helpful, as well. Trash bags will be supplied, but bring work/gardening gloves if you have them.  Maybe a pointy stick, as well? For stabbing trash, not people, of course.

If you have any questions, comments, or suggestions, e-mail me.  RSVP if you are certain you are attending.

Thank you,

Apparently we're going to need one in Concord where they have posted signs against firearms in the parks which is contrary to state law.

I would join you for this one but have volunteered for the NHLA on that day.

The signs say 'weapons' (the ones I'm aware of) but yes, open carry needed there still. Good luck guys.

We just got word that Senator Obama and Senator Biden will be appearing together at a rally this weekend in Manchester! The event starts at 10:30 a.m., but they're opening the doors at 8:00 a.m.  We're still organizing a caravan for our regular Saturday canvass, so we'll be meeting at Hope High school at 8:30 a.m. and plan to be on the road by 9:00. If you want to walk for change in Manchester AND attend the rally, be sure to register here. For volunteers looking to rally before we hit the streets, we'll be meeting at Hope High at 6:30 a.m., and be on the road by 7:00. The rally is at the Veterans Memorial Park and canvassing will be organized out of the Manchester HQ immediately after.

Maybe we should move the open carry litter pickup to Saturday?

Might be a good idea considering it is supposed to be raining on Sunday.

I'm committed to do the NASCAR thang on Saturday, although if anyone wants to open carry in Barrack's vicinity/general direction on Saturday I think that would be awesome.

EUREKA! An event I can attend! I'll be there with my .40.

Oh don't actually bring a gun! You might hurt someone!

Hubbard

I'll bring my holster with a stick in it!
