Doh! I should've thought about oil supply when you described Berlin.

The conversions sound nice, though. A little note on this: Josh Tickell of From the Fryer to the Fuel Tank fame took a 1971 Datsun 240Z and powered it with a Nissan LD28 diesel engine from a wrecked 1982 Nissan Maxima. After 11 years and a name change for the company, the motor mounts and transmission mated without changes.

Thanks for your input about the area. I'm from a very small town in Arkansas, so Coös county just feels like home to me. When I talk about moving there, I have to remember how different it would be for most people.
