sagamore court is a pretty good place. its in the ballpark of 1200/mon for a 2 bedroom (which for portsmouth isn't bad). pool, tennis court, pets (including dogs) are ok.

Nice. When I'm not below the federal poverty line I'll check that out. I'm planning to move to Portsmouth next summer.

Except when Obama is doing it. Then its a noble policy of peace and international good will. Portsmouth is nice but I avoid political discussion of any kind in liberal places, so you might want to get into Dover or Hampton or something in there. I heard that the coast still has jobs but I don't want to commute that far

I saw some empty houses over some place called Strawberry Banke. . . perhaps the government will allow me to use one of those to live in. 

I'm curious, when a private holding gets property that has belonged to the state for a couple of hundred years, do they actually own it or is it still basically a government property under control of a private group.
