Protest against seatbelt bill?
« on: January 17, 2005, 11:48 AM NHFT »

Here's a thread for discussing what kind of protest we might want to have against the seatbelt bill.

My favorite idea so far is getting a Mass. buckle up sign or something like that, then planting it somewhere, then sledgehammer it with media present.

We could use some ideas for short slogans to put on signs too...

A brainstorm or two:

Seatbelt my choice not yours
No to seatbelt edict

Govt. out
of my
car

Oooh breaking things might be even more fun than burning things....though burning things has a big warm appeal in wintertime.

Someone mentioned that there would be hearings in Concord about this issue. We just need to find out the day, so we can show up there.
This one finally deserves the State House Steps treatment. :D

Looks like this is already being discussed at
