i was thinking it would be cool to start a website dedicated to art created by porcupines - music, art, film, etc...unfortunately, i don't actually know much about making websites these days. thought i'd throw the idea out there.

great minds think alike. . . I've been beginning to get back into my art.  I don't consider myself very good at all. . . but I wanted to make some nice drawings for some people that have inspired me.  I hope to give them the art at an event in the near future. . .

I'm such a critic of my work. . . always have been, which has been quite a downfall for myself.  I think having an art page is a good idea, and either someone can make a good buck, or even accept donations of art and then donate a sum to their favorite liberty group.

Example, I could draw something, and donate it to the page to sell in order to give a cut to . . . say a certain freedom oriented newspaper.

Yes, good idea.   :)

I don't know how to do it either.   :(

Ron Helwig

I know how to do it.

Please start tossing money in my pocket.  ;)

Art? What a fine idea!
Anybody do metals?
I don't know about DeviantArt, but if I enjoyed it, it would probably be illegal in several states.
So that's another thing to look forward too!

If you have a Mac and iWeb it's as easy as drag and drop.

That's how I made my site. www.dooms-day-device.com

I do

Working on another new site (sorry I wouldn't have time to do this one for quite some time)... but would be happy to do art & only ask for cost of materials /shipping in return.

1st idea - large rough/torch cut steel plaque of a porc w/ground patterns/designs & transparent/candy paint with a back light of EL wire or LEDs - perhaps 3x4 ft?  could do it on AL too lighter but more expensive - plus I've never torch cut AL & don't know that you can do it successfully

I could see something like that going for over a grand in a gallery - take 2 days to make, & I doubt more than about $150.
