My team of marketing professionals contracted from Disney came up with the title for this post. A new video produced by Nick of LyfProductions (a.k.a. Coconut here) has been posted to the AIYH Facebook club. You have to be a member of the group to view it. It's a very brief (18 secs) collage of comic teasers set to music and will be used as the opening to all the Anarchy In Your Head videos on YouTube. The Facebook club is a great way to stay updated on AIYH news, new comics, t-shirt designs, and such so I strongly encourage you to join the group. You also get to preview the video before anyone else on YouTube. However, if you don't feel like joining, it won't be long before it's available on YouTube as well.

OK, now it's on YouTube. I deleted the other one and replaced it with the one with the new fade out.

I like it.

It gets you wondering what is going on with colorful pics and then tells you where you can go to see more.   :)

It needs to be played a lot of times before people really start wondering, like that ultra classic Rainier beer commercial from the early 1980's.

No idea what you're talking about. :)

Hey Anarchy in Head Guy!

I know this isn't the exact thread for my suggestions but I can't seem to find your "comic Ideas" thread.

Anyway, I'm growing sick of people always referring to "The Economy" and "The Environment" as if they are people...so I was thinking if you had a couple guest characters, with the above two names, it might be a possibility that would fit right in and give you some possibilities to play/work with.   Keep up the great work!

It's a new month and the rankings have all been reset on Top Web Comics. Remember that you can vote as often as every day if you remember to. The link is on my website and in my signature on this board. Use it as a reminder to click if you haven't already on any particular day.

You can vote every day on TWCL

The Web Comics List doesn't have votes, but it seems to adjust my ranking based on visits.

You can now support the webcomic by shopping at Amazon. Just use the handy URL below and a portion of the proceeds will go to Anarchy In Your Head.

**Disclaimer: The artist will use the money for Filipino hookers and opium dens.

Kudos to J'Raxis for setting up the forwarding to make these sorts of URLs possible. I highly recommend him for any of your web hosting needs.

For the benefit of those with the beginnings of Alzheimer's, like myself, the Facebook fan club has been added to the AIYH repertoire of convenient, easy to recall links--

Just to give an idea of how powerful your vote is...

As of today, AIYH has 127 votes and is placed at 205 in the ranking out of thousands of comics. The votes are reset at the beginning of the month and each IP address can vote once a day.

Most likely there are a number of people voting occasionally whenever they remember. Maybe they visit the site and see the button or maybe they see a message I posted and the button in my signature reminds them. But 127 votes can be achieved by only about 6 dedicated fans if they voted every day (127 / 21 days so far in May ). Just 6 more votes by this time of the month would have AIYH in the top 200, or the 2nd page. 446 total votes by now would place us on the front page in the top 100 webcomics. That means roughly 21 dedicated fans voting every day ( 446/21 ) could keep AIYH on the front page!

There have been times when we've been on the front page briefly and there is definite traffic from the TWCL site. It's basically free advertising. So if you wanted to do something to help AIYH but don't want to spend money, this is a way to do it. Anything you can do to remind yourself or encourage your friends to vote every day would be helpful. Anything that drives traffic to the site has the potential to raise revenue through the advertising. And that revenue is crucial for keeping me in the lifestyle to which I've become accustomed, i.e. opium dens and Filipino hookers. If I actually start making money from the site, I will be a lot more likely to ignore that little devil on my shoulder that keeps asking me why I still put so much time into it. Just ask my roommates. Most Weds & Fridays, I get increasingly irritable throughout the day as I struggle with forcing myself to sit down and work on the comic.

Thanx!
