High Noon NHFT time is 12:00 straight up! The party starts then and goes until everyone leaves.... ;)

I was asked to post a reminder that this is a potluck.  :D
as in .... if you are clueless single guy that cannot cook (like me BK ... before kat) you should pick up stuph at the store on your way here .... the party is in Hobbiton which lacks grocery stores ... you can hand them to the various cooks and look hungry .... or follow the PatK model and bring a cooler full of goodies.

I'm making the deviled eggs right now and then we're out of here!  I hope we're not going to be too late. :-\

Thank you Rainey, the deviled eggs where good.

I had a great time.... Dale mixed up some great pancakes, Lauren, Kat and Russell got big brass balls and I got a thousand karma points.    ;D

Mike Barskey

I had a great time hanging with y'all.

Here are my pictures from today: http://gallery.me.com/mike.barskey#100306

I'd love it if you added your pictures to this album (you can attach pictures to an email and send it to mike.barskey-r93x@post.me.com and they'll automatically be added). I don't have any pics of myself, but some of you took pics where I wasn't, have different perspectives than me, etc.

Also, I'll be adding a video sometime tomorrow.

Russell Kanning

that was fun ... it is good when we can have a party outside, since the house is still very much under construction

Puke

I put off some school work I needed to do to come up.
I'm very glad I did. I greatly enjoyed the drive up, the great pancakes, Jim's fascinating shotgun shells, the bonfire and of course; friends being free of the clutches of the evil Empire cages.
(And Lauren, Kat, and Russell getting their brass balls!  ;D)

Photos will be coming soon from me. I took approx. 250 some photos before my battery died.  :D

Lloyd Danforth

I had a great time.  I'm glad Rainey and company got there as early as they did.  I hope they had a good time too.

;D Kind of reminds me of the Wizard of Oz. (Help me out with the exact quotation/video clip.)  Something like, "Bla bla bla ... You've always had a brain; now you have a diploma."  ;D

There is now a separate thread here regarding the illegal search of our car when we were riding back from the event. I didn't want to derail the pleasant discussions about the festivities in this thread.

"Why, anybody can have a brain. That's a very mediocre commodity. Every pusillanimous creature that crawls on the Earth or slinks through slimy seas has a brain. Back where I come from, we have universities, seats of great learning, where men go to become great thinkers. And when they come out, they think deep thoughts and with no more brains than you have! But they have one thing you haven't got - a diploma. Therefore, by virtue of the authority vested in me by the Universitatus Committeatum E Pluribus Unum, I hereby confer upon you the honorary degree of Th. D...that's Doctor of Thinkology.
