I received some Silver Eagles from Apmex for a pretty steep markup over spot. Boy are they beautiful! So I took some photos, at night, in the light of my full-spectrum desk lamp, and outside in the sunlight. They turned out very nicely. Cheap digital cameras take good pictures these days. I've attached my favorite, in the reddish indoor light. Higher resolution versions at the link.

The US Mint has the 2008 uncirculated for $25.95 each and proofs for $31.95.

They are supposed to have a Lincoln $1.00 1oz silver bullion in 2009.

I buy the uncirculated annual dollar set, though, as a hand-me-down for my sons - $37.95 for 2008.

I also get the Annual uncirculated coin sets ever year.

Yes. The mint's markup is incredible. I paid $18.32 plus shipping/handling for my uncirculated 2008 eagles. Apmex has sold out of them at present. I plan to buy Maple Leafs next time.

Sorry, these are going to be 90% silver commemoratives, not bullion.

A little humor here. This site describing the 2009 Lincoln silver dollar said the inscriptions will include "In Gold We Trust." ;D
