The server is down under mysterious circumstances. The server provider is not responding to support requests. Assume the worst and take appropriate precautions. More details later. I have to leave now.

OK, finally got hold of the provider. It's looking like a hardware issue of some kind. You can stop assuming the worst, for now, but be alert. More details to come.

It was a failed Ethernet port. Good thing the board has two. We're back in business. (sigh of relief)
