OK, some people are going to think I'm insane (I won't argue with you  ;) ) or hypocritical (um, I'll try to think up a good argument later), but I have decided to run for Chair of the LPNH.  I believe I would make a good Chair, and would help to promote the ideals of non-aggression, liberty and personal responsibility to the residents of New Hampshire in this position.  If anyone besides myself on this forum is a dues-paying member of the LPNH, I welcome your vote.  :P

Well I am not a dues paying member.
But hey you know that won't stop me from

First they would be lucky to have ya.

Second are you sure this is your cross to bear?

Caleb

I was thinking the exact same thing.

I do believe that political parties can be good places to network sometimes. It's why I haven't ever completely severed my connections to the Democrat Party....Still, I wonder if you will truly feel fulfilled in that environment.

If you do decide to go through with it, Good Hunting!

Good luck in all you do! Just keep in mind that this is your choice. If you start feeling the burden, step down before you burn out!

Good luck lady liberty, I hope you get a lot of people elected :)

Someone emailed me asking if I am renouncing my renouncement of politics.  This was my response:

I guess in a sense I'm renouncing my renouncement.  I still think politics is a dirty, dirty business, but, like killing someone in self-defense, sometimes you gotta do what you gotta do!  Also, I am of the David Nolan school, someone who remembers that the LP was founded for multiple reasons, only one of which was to get candidates elected to office.  The primary goal was, and in my opinion should still be, to use electoral politics as a tool to disseminate the concepts of libertarianism to the masses.  Think of me more as a virus than a politician.  ;)

The upside of bearing the cross is that you can beat people with it.  ;D   :angel4:   :whip2:

Does the position of Patty O Chair have to be female?  I think that's sexiest.

Do I remember Sandy in a lady liberty outfit?  I could close my eyes right now, see her like that, and smile.
