 i'll be playing a gig there, at 9pm-ish, if anyone wants to go. also, i would like to do a cover of a pro-liberty song (especially if some of you porcs show up). any ideas? it has to be something that can be played on an acoustic guitar. i'm sort of considering "me and the i.r.s." by johnny paycheck.

I was always partial to "Ruby Tuesday."
You could sing "Mrs. Robinson" as Paul Simon originally wrote it, substituting "Mrs. Roosevelt."  Suddenly, the lyrics start to make sense, don't they?

What Did You Learn in School Today?

It is a very easy folk song to sing and play by Tom Paxton.  http://www.mydfz.com/Paxton/lyrics/wdylis.htm

If you have never heard it, you can check it out online, http://www.imeem.com/rockmusic2/music/thJ6iJQc/tom_paxton_what_did_you_learn_in_school_today/

It's my favorite folks song, which is saying a lot since I'm a big folk fan :)

By 9ish, what do you mean exactly and is there a cover?
