I should have included a paraphrase of Ayn Rand, about saying if they as people wore body armor and two guns, would they be going to do something nasty? The obvious answer they'll give is no- but this completely invalidates their reasoning because they're making a moral and character judgment.

  Hell, I can't wait until I'm pulled over, heck, I'll call the Union Leader and have them watch the Cops take my FAL with 6 loaded clips, body armor, my bible (ooooo!) my copy of the Constitution, my Desert Eagle with 5 loaded .357 clips, my .357 back up revolver with 3 speed loaders, (unloaded all of em by the way), (they don't jam), and my boot knife as well as my Old Henry deer skinning knife.  Know what the Cops will do?  Ask me if they can check out the FAL and ask me how it shoots.
 I don't know why this is a big deal?  Maybe the City is looking for Federal Money with the Civilian population exercising their civil rites????
 (ok, I missed the why this is a big deal point, I'm in support of carrying any way you want to including full auto.)

Someone I knew swore by the practice of keeping one of those pranksters' screw-top cans with the spring-loaded snake in it, painted to look like a camouflage canister.  When the cop grabs it, you warn, "Don't open that!" and when he does, make your move . . .

Criminals also wear masks. I think anyone wearing a mask Oct 31st should be shot on site by the police.
