This was truly disgusting.  Police engaging in disruptive protests and driving recklessly.  Any one of us would have been tossed in the clink for it.  Basically they are pissed the amount they make from overtime on this simple and fairly safe activity is at risk.

slim

I saw in the video Police protesters in the street. I wonder if one of us did that we would be arrested for disorderly conduct.

Boo hoo the cops are not getting the $30 per hour to hold a stop sign, that just tears my heart out.

grasshopper

They should be arrested for extorsion and under the organised crme bill or FJ Reco.

I love the idea of a racketeering or extortion charge for the police union.  They are conspiring to break the law.

It is funny that the "police protesters" in this case are not people protesting against police.  Normally I think fairly well of a police officer's motives, but this is some awful gangsterism.

I kind of wish this had happened in the shire, since I would want to hold a sign to protest their unpunished illegal activities.

I'll go out on a limb here and guess the masscops.com idiots would approve of these protests...

Oh, hell yeah! At 108 pages so far, and counting. Much of that dates back to the proposal for this change. For the debate once the plan was actually implemented, start at page 94.

Good lord. I'm reminded of the DEA agent in the classroom: "I'm the only one here, that I know of, professional enough to wave this flag!" *boom!*

They sure like to complain about how they get no respect, but actually listening to anybody who might give them insight into WHY they get no respect? Not happening.

at the very least, a few people in my circle found a corrilation between the protests over the DNC/RNC and the one happening in Massholechusetts.

My own father, who had no problem with any protesters getting beat down, said that it was funny that the only group that can protest while destroying property, threatening people, and overall being dipshits in the middle of the street AND at the same time get away with it completely would be the police forces.

it's just not right, but perhaps it's opening a few minds.  Those flagmen are there to work, earn a living. . .everything the police are saying about themselves.

sick effers.

doobie

Couldn't they just call 911 and have the protesters arrested....  ::) ;D :o
