Is there an organized national anarchist movement?

I mean besides mises.org and the national Libertarian Party.

there is a "national-anarchist" movement that is a little controversial in left-anarchist circles.

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/National-Anarchism

excerpt:
National-Anarchists see the hierarchies inherent in government and capitalism as oppressive. They advocate collective action organized along the lines of national identity, and visualise a decentralised social order wherein like-minded individuals voluntarily establish and maintain distinct communities. They may more accurately be referred to as Tribal Anarchists. National-Anarchism has been denounced by left-wingers, who regard it as a far right ideology.

National-Anarchism shares with most strains of anarchism a desire to reorganize human relationships, with an emphasis on replacing the hierarchical structures of government and capitalism with local, communal decision-making. Troy Southgate has stated:

"We believe in political, social and economic decentralisation. In other words, we wish to see a positive downward trend whereby all bureaucratic concepts such as the UN, NATO, the EU, the World Bank and even nation-states like England and Germany are eradicated and consequently replaced by autonomous village-communities."

National-Anarchists tend to advocate economic practices that can be described as distributism and mutualism, in which the emphasis is placed on a wide ownership of the means of production, in the form of small businesses and workers' cooperatives. The revolutionary conservative concept of the Anarch is central to National-Anarchism.

National-Anarchists reject liberalism as a primary cause of the social decline of nations and cultural identity.National-Anarchists also reject fascism and Communism as statist and totalitarian, and reject National Socialism as a failed dictatorship of a totalitarian government. This rejection however is held by some in the broader Anarchist movement to be deceptive or dishonest. Green Anarchist published an article accusing National-Anarchists of being state-backed fascist infiltrators with the goal of discrediting mainstream anarchism. Antifa, a militant anti-fascist network, advocates violent physical confrontation with National-Anarchists, whom it considers to be part of the far right.

hello anarkhos...

tho there are several US based anarchist groups, as far as i know there is no umbrella organization or concerted nationwide movement...

what exists exists very decentralized...

however, you find a Sept contribution to InfoShop News to be quite interesting..

Unconventional Futures: A Proposal for Building Decentralized, Nationwide Anarchist Momentum

SNIP:  "With a national network of anarchists organizing diverse local projects and actions under a common theme, we can offer an accessible route for disaffected ex-Obamaites to tap into resistance to politics and capitalism. At the same time, we can offer cohesive resistance to any right-wing backlash, with a network for efficient communication and to mobilize support and coordinated action. There hasn't been any national anarchist organizing network beyond event-specific coordination since the Love and Rage Federation, which disintegrated before Seattle"

btw, the current US incarnation of "libertarian" is far from being anarchist, imo...

Well, `Unconventional Action` and other large anarchist groups paint themselves as anti-capitalist, and that really turns me off.  What I really want to see is a national anarchist group that simply claims to fight for all Individual Sovereignists, whether they are capitalist or socialist.

Yes, but most socialists by their very nature are collectivists not individualists.

The anarchist associations mentioned above are anti-capitalistic, which makes little sense.  They probably think property enslaves us...

You could start your own but many people would view it as an attempt to "herd cats", if you get me.  But that's just some people, others may find it very useful.
