I need help! ... would prefer to hire work with friends, and I'll pay cash.
I need a driver with a pick up truck with a 2 & 5/16 ball & (hopefully) transport lights. If I need to buy the lights I will.
I'll pay/bargin for your time & (obviously) pay gas in both directions.

Help move an empty 28 foot trailer from Manchester, NH to Grafton, NH.
We need to do it this week: Must happen by next Friday morning.

I'm too far away to lend any assistance, but I'll bump up the thread just because John is a good guy.   ;D

AntonLee

bump, I have a buick, no help whatsoever.

Might should try and see if Firecracker Joe is around John.

Sent PM to Joe this a.m. No reply, yet. Methinks Joe is like I and not the biggest (every day) computer guy.

Any one got Joe's phone # --- you know, old school --- the way I talked to my friend Jim recently while everyone was busy buzzing on the internet(s).  ;)  8)

If anyone has Joe's contact ---whoop --- whoop, phone rings --- it's Joe ...
Joe can't make this happen this time; suggests flatbed truck is best way to move it ...

Have you got friends who need/want this work?
Joe will be talking to others ... but suggests keep asking around because time is short ...

leetninja

is it on wheels and you just need to tow it?

Kat Kanning

I have Joe's phone numbers, but don't remember which was top secret and which was semi-public  :o

One wheel needs to be repaced. Lights are questionable. What else might we discover?
So far, I'm going with Joe's advice. Flatbed.

Do you know anyone who needs/wants the work?
Joe is talking to his contacts & sugests still talking to others ...

Flatbed ride from Manchester to Grafton ...

Is that an empty 28ft RV trailer?

Originally advertised as "Office trailer, 30'." Then the guy said it's 28'. I'll measure on Monday.

If Joe's contacts don't pan out, does anyone have a local contact in the Grafton area who might want some new business? I'll also be looking for a trustworthy auto-mechanic when I finally make it to Grafton ...

now i know why my ears were ringing!!
talked to john reccommended using flat bed to haul trailer and avoid flats lights or anything else that could happen on highway as long as total height is less than 13' 6 my neighbor says he can do it for $250  he said either on flat bed or towed if too high. IF there are no porcs with means to move  i reccommend  canterbury salvage who ive always found to be cheap compared to most. I will talk to john again and help him make arrangements.
