What happened at the arraignment today with Andrew?

I have only heard about the NH state thugs kidnapping Dave, because he had a video camera.

Pled not guilty. Trial date May 1.

Quick question: Did you check freekeene.com for an update before asking here? Because we didn't post it there, and wondering if we had, would your question have been answered?

No. I have just been following the case from the nhunderground website. I did watch an interview a while back on freekeene.com though.

We sure are lucky to have the nhunderground, it's my favorite NH website.

Whats with the cop?  Is he large breasted or just obese?

Kat Kanning

That's Shane.  Must have been on extra donut rations.

Tom Sawyer

I'm just glad that he didn't flashback to sniper mode and shoot someone. ;D

This is a bump to remind everyone about the trial on Friday, May 1 at 1:30pm in Keene District Court. Rumors have it this will prove to be an interesting one. Especially considering that Andrew will not be entering the courtroom unless they let my camera in. The motion I submitted for that is still in "processing" or whatever they do with it.

The outcome of this trial will also likely affect Ian's future, and the allegations against him of "promoting illegal activity" and Rivera's attempts to reinstate Ian's 90 (maybe 70) day jail term.

See everyone at the happening tomorrow...

You're joking about the dollar amount, right?  If so -- good one!  If not...then it appears that the judge has something of a sense of humor.

Tom Sawyer

Great turnout today... I think the count was 46.  8)

I am quite impressed with Andrew. Thanks for your efforts and sacrifice.

Great victory for the Barsk-a-nator... no permission needed for Keene Freedom Fest... thanks Mike.  :)

Mike Barskey

No joke about $420! Their fine was $350 and they asses a 20% penalty assessment (a fine for getting a fine!). Funny amount for a marijuana charge, though.

I was really impressed with Andrew, too. He seemed calm and coherent, and made the point very well that the court did not care about morality or justice, but only  about following the letter of the law. And he made a few jokes that made the entire room laugh - including the judge and prosecution. And he held to his principles: he refused to pay their fine or serve the community - he is making the court jail him for his completely nonviolent "offense."

Well done!
