I had a thought today while I was in the shower.......... (ambigious, I know)

I have about 20 shampoos and hair conditioners in my shower and I almost used shampoo for conditioner but stopped myself.   Why did I stop myself?    I believe it's because you know how they say our subconscious,(I think that's it), eyes take in tons of things we aren't even aware we're seeing?

Well I think that usually shampoo has color and conditioners are white so I must have subconsciously known that was shampoo I was about to use because it is blue.   So I started looking at my shampoos & conditioners and I'm right, most of the conditioners are just white.

Next time I go to the store I will be more observant and perhaps follow up on this stupid post that probably no one cares about.  :D

LOL

;D

How are you doing?  I don't know if you remember me but I remember you from your posts last year.  I sound like a stalker, huh?  ;D

As I recall and I could be wrong, we talked about Chevys, right?   Did you move to NH?

SpeedPhreak

Yea - I remember that.  Im doing ok - you?

I haven't made my move yet (I've posted about it in the last few weeks).

I (usually) don't mind being stalked by women  ;D

Actually - although I want to meet everyone here, I really want to meet you.  You sound like a blast.

My shampoo is blue. It says "Suave For Men 2 in 1".

My conditioner is blue. It says "Suave For Men 2 in 1".

Of course, I should add that this weekend I shaved my head bald for the first time, so I'm now simply using my bodywash/face soap for my dome. Fitting, since you started a thread about Shaving

I can be a blast sometimes other times I'm pretty boring but I'd like to meet you too.   :)

I hope to be a real blast at the Burning Porcupine Fest.  Gosh I hope I got that name right.   You know what's funny?  I call my religion confusion if people ask however I'm pretty sure I believe in God and I just realized sometimes I don't capitalize his name but I capitalized BP Fest.   Oh well, I guess I'll go to hell for something or the other, if there is one. ;D

Maybe you can go to BP fest, who knows, it sounds great!    :D

So your condtioner is blue but see it is a 2 in 1 shampoo/conditioner so how do you know they didn't mix blue shampoo in with white conditioner and put it all in the same bottle?  :inspect: :inspect:

Oh cool, how does it feel being bald?  I bet, weird, huh?    I know whenever I've gotten my hair cut short it feels really weird and I keep swinging my head around to feel the shortness.  I'm so weird, I know.

I'm not sure if I'm going to keep my hair long or not its knotting up and getting on my nerves.  Rick's hairline is receding in the front and he has a bald spot in the back and I hope he doesn't go totally bald.  I love the curls on the back of his hair, they are my reigns.  8)

I went bald once too - not good.

I have a friend that has been doing it for 10+yrs.  I don't know if it is just him being mostly black (different hair/scalp conditions), he says you still need to use shampoo & conditioner & NOT soap - you will dry your scalp out, still get/cause dandruff, & even damage the hair folicle. - something you may want to consider.

I want to know why you have 20 shampoos and conditioners in your shower.  Why not finish them before bringing in a new one?

I use Dr. Bronner's Hemp Peppermint soap for my whole body.  It works well as both a soap and a shampoo.

Because she...

I hit the "she" part and realized it needed no more explanation. :D My wife isn't that bad but she's got about 10 - 12. Face scrubs and body washes and gels and baths and... Meh. Soap. washcloth, water. On good days, towel.

Times, they are a-changing though. Thanks to the "Axe" brand, men can now have shower poofies, but they're call "Detailers" and have manly rubber handles!

Because you can see through it. I know what kind of conditioner you're thinking of and mixing it with anything would make it 'milky' yet this is clear with coloring. They MIGHT have mixed it, but it would still be a non-white conditioner. :)

My hair line has been creeping back since my 12th birthday. Part of the reason for shaving is because my hair already grows "awkwardly" and in not enough places on my head. The scalp dryness is a real concern, but no more or less than with washing one's face. I've personally found that my nose drys out worse and for that reason, I've been using a shave gel/lotion on my face and scalp. It all works well. There would probably be issues with just a washrag and soap though.

I hate waiting until something is finished before moving on to something new, it's so boring!  That's why I am currently still reading 6 different books at the same time, well not all at the same time but I hope you know what I mean.  8)
