Tonight's Full Moon is called ... The Full Beaver Moon

Remember that as you look up at the night sky tonight.

Lloyd Danforth

As I gather from another topic on the forum, some people would probably prefer a 'Landing Strip Moon'

AntonLee

or the "fully shaved pink moon"  it's not as rare as you might think.

shyfrog

Ahhh...tonight's Beaver Moon will be obscured by wet, humid cloud cover, making it likely the Beaver Moon will appear fuzzy (if at all)

freeborn

Even if it is only fuzzy, I noticed a lot of lunatics ont he highway today.  Happens every time the moon is full. ::)

Not quite "Full Beaver" but...

In Troy, Michigan, it's possible to "get off on Big Beaver Road". Yep, that's exit 69.

Puke

It will be a sopping wet, cold beaver moon.

AntonLee

I'm not sure that sign is real??  Photoshop experts?

Lloyd Danforth

I don't why it couldn't be.  Up to the late 60's the word Beaver, just meant the ones that build Dams from sticks.

AntonLee

I just think it's strange that it's also exit 69.

Lloyd Danforth

Highway exits are numbered both sequentially or according to the miles from the highway's beginnig at which they occur. Exit 69 can happen in both cases.

AntonLee

no I was speaking more about the correlation . . . Beaver Road : Exit 69 as Stoner Road : Exit 420

Lloyd Danforth

Given all of the highways in the US a lot of possibilities have to be out there that are inside jokes for some.  I'm guessing that there are people who work with the Periodic Table or the Dewey Decimal System that can barely contain themselves going down some highways.

Do I make you horny, baby, yeah do I?
