That looked like factual news reporting with only a little bit of state-written parroting. I'm a bit surprised, honestly.

Anybody have the uh...link to this online reality show?  I couldn't find it.

Also, am I being dense, or does this report really not explain what the heck "Kop Busters" did exactly?  I get the impression that they somehow lured the cops to a residence by making them think there were drugs there, but how exactly is that supposed to uncover corrupt cops?

Fluff and Stuff

They had an illegal warrant or something.  Jason O called into FTL and talk about it at the end of the TH FTL.

The show is in production at the moment.

'Police are looking to see if any laws were broken'...

And they'll be looking hard. Barry better be careful to dot his i's and cross his t's, they're gonna try and take him out on the first chance they get with this.

I wonder if he's still working on that docu he mentioned at liberty forum where they were going to get a group of people mad drunk and study them, then mad stoned and compare. I'm looking forward to that one if it's still on.

I met Barry and his ultra-hot wife at the Libertarian Party of Texas convention in June and they've got some pretty awesome projects lined up.

I've been in occasional discussions with getting him to run for governor in 2010 in the Lone Star State. He's really a nice guy, and cops hate his guts for what he's doing.

Too bad we didn't equip each community with a bunch of cop-watchers. I'd give anything if I had my own camera crew ;)

I'll repeat what I said elsewhere that publicity efforts ought to stress that police departments throughout the nation should welcome, encourage, and be willing to assist the efforts of this programs--except for the departments that are themselves corrupt.

You should instead encourage him to move to NH.   :P

I don't know that either Barry Cooper or New Hampshire would survive that culture shock.

I spent my first 22 years in Odessa, see why I left? :-P

Candi says they like to drink in TX, and I'm pretty sure NH people like to drink too.  He'd fit right in.   :P

I think Barry, Candi, and their children would fit in NH. I think it might be nice to see someone like Barry run for sheriff.
