Dale, check out this thread.  Perhaps Joey will "save" you too?

All he needs is a big gay lovefest to meet him when he gets here so he can let all those repressed feelings out.

I call first, Dale can have sloppy seconds.

LOL.

I almost half-way expected the criticisms to come out. But that's ok. Nice of you to pull out a thread from when I was 24.

Ironically, I'm not the same "boy" I was back then. I'm much more liberal in the sense that open-mindedness is better than being a cranky social conservative-type. In other words, I've grown up a bit.

Kat, whatever differences we did have I'm hopeful that as adults we can move forward. I am not like I once was.

Plus, I'm looking forward to Plymouth State and ultimately, law school. I've got a one-track focus right now and that's getting an education (I know, I know, society's education), but I look forward to meeting and re-meeting all of you.

Updates on what I've got planned and what I have done thus far (my track record of political activism is pretty darn good, if I may say so myself. Started when I was 22, ran for office, built up my newspaper's readership and currently publish one of the most influential blogs in Texas.)

I also look forward to having a Samuel Adams. So if anyone would like to plan for a Q&Explanation (I'm pretty rare, I can actually admit - publicly - to being wrong and correcting course) at a bar or something, I'd be up for it. Just make sure they serve Sam Adams :)

I'm on MySpace, too: www.myspace.com/joeyNH

Hard to get Sam Adams here. Perhaps you should reconsider your move.

Like hyenas picking apart a carcass.

Just don't go to a meet-up and expect him to show, or call, or apologize.

Sounds good... I didn't drink before I moved to Grafton. Now I have a Sam Adams every month, whether I need it or not (have to keep up with modern medicine, NE Journal of Medicine says it's good for your heart).

We can have a reunion of the Ferris TX libertarians... half of them, anyway  ;D

Tom, I'm not sure at which MeetUp or meeting that you're speaking of, but if I didn't apologize, I do apologize now.

And I will do so in person.

I can tell you that I had a last-minute schedule change during my trip last year for spring break. I was set to go to the Keene meeting but my friend who had been my "tour guide" had wanted to go home instead : /

Anyway, I'm sure there will be chances to meet up and make amends. For now, though, just count this as one more "person" in your stat book.

Good to know.  Welcome to NH.

Indeed. I just saw that thread. Good to see a former social conservative seeing the light about leaving other people's private lives alone. ;D

The rental agreement is being emailed to me today.

It's official: I'm headed to Rumney, NH ladies and gentlemen!

I leave Tuesday, Feb. 17. Should be in Texas by the 20th (depending on how fast I drive.)

Wow, should I even send the newspapers?  I'm sick right now so I couldn't get them in the mail until tomorrow or the next day anyway.  Let me know if you think you'll get them by the time you move.

I'm glad you found a place!  :D

Oops, I meant I leave Texas for New Hampshire on Feb. 17 haha.

Rainey, I guess the papers can wait. I'm busy social networking hahah.
