I'm sure those who need help have no power/internet, but if anyone needs help post here and if someone can provide assistance that would be great!

I'm in the clear.  No power, but backup is working.  Tree removal is complete, and very happy I parked my car where I did and not where I thought about parking it.

Power is on at Porc Central. There are already refugees coming in from other parts of the city. With their laptops. ;D

Friday

Power's out at my place.  Had to shower in the dark.

Power's out at Starbuck's.   :coffee:

Power's on at the office. :P  Had to dodge numerous fallen tree branches, multiple dead traffic lights, and one downed electric wire en route.     :nerd:

Ivy found this road closings site if anyone needs to travel: http://hb.511nh.com/main.jsf

That was my question. My wife and I are in Mass and I was wondering if the Wilson Street area was effected by this.

Where I am in Manchester has power (Pine St. near the cemetery). We had some flickering last night but it never went out.

Mark Warden in the North End is without power.

We're entirely unaffected here at Porc Central, and there's still plenty of couch space and electrical outlets!

Raineyrocks

What the heck happened, a tornado?

Is there any way I can help, we are fine here?

Puke

I didn't even know it saw that bad until I got to work and it was damn near abandoned!
I thought it was just a bit of slush and rain.

One good thing about living in town and using the highway.

Driving up from Mass last night it looked like there was a fireworks show! Lots o transformers blowing I guess.

Friday

They just relandscaped around my house in the past few weeks, and planted all these baby trees that now look like Charlie Brown's Christmas tree after he hangs the ornament on it.   :duh:

Wow saw some video and pics.

Derry looks like a land of ice.

You folks be careful.

Becky Thatcher

The trees at our place are still covered in ice.  Really pretty until you get an icicle in the eye.   :icon_pirat:

Ice flying all over today when the wind picked up.   :D

Yeah, we had flickering also. There's got to be a better way of getting electricity to folk than over powerlines. It seems like such old technology.
