So what's everybody hoping to get at Christmas?

I hardly give a thought to presents at Xmas. My family only does that within the closest family units, i.e. spouses and kids. My siblings and I don't bother and we're all happier for it and can just enjoy Xmas without the fuss and expense. I may get something from my mom and I'll probably get her a little something. I think I got a hat last year from my older sister. That was pretty much it. My mom puts me up while I'm visiting, over feeds me, lets me borrow her car, and generally pampers me to death. That's quite a gift as far as I'm concerned.

That sounds pretty nice!   Geesh, the first time my mother allowed me to borrow her car because I supposedly, (sp?), break everything I touch according to her  , this ass hits me with his truck.   I remember calling her from a phone booth with my bottle of xanax and hand open!   I kept saying to the truck driver, "why, why, why my mother's car?"

It was funny too because she made me swear I wouldn't toke up while driving her car.  I was picking up a good friend from jail and she probably figuring we'd toke up so I promised I'd wait and I meant it.
Now on the brighter side at least she didn't say I couldn't take my xanax but I figured I wouldn't even mess with those because of my "stigma" in the family and who wants to take any chances but at least I had that damn bottle of x's when I made that phone call to her. 

I remember the day I failed my drivers license:   I was going through the serpentine, (cones?), and the trooper said, "your not going fast enough", so I floored it and lost control of the car and crashed into a snow bank.   Then when I pulled up to the front of the license place I forgot to put the car in park and I said to the trooper, "I  guess I failed, huh?"     Well he didn't even answer me but gave me one of those "no shit, dumb ass" looks.    So I decided to try again the very next day but this time I hit the bong hard and heavy!   I just missed getting the same trooper and I passed no problem.
