Are there people out there who want to start a Film Production Company to be based in New Hampshire.  This is an industry that is some what new to NH.  It could be a ground floor opportunity to get our word out to people.

Video production is much cheaper. Film is too expensive.

You should make it a general production company that can do audio, print and web content as well.

AlanM

Definitely video. Also should include audio, such as audio books.
Not as expensive to begin a video production company as one might think.

Excellent ideas. I agree. One supports the other, bringing maximum exposure and utilization of personnel and equipment.

I am an actor/director and know lots of actors who would love to do this type of work. The talent is there, just need to get it up and running.

Maybe we could learn from the past, from freedominnh.    But right now  NH is looking for production companies.  Just because an idea failed for lack of money doesn't mean we should all rollover and play dead.  I know this will work if we put the right group together.  Why not get our word out to as many people as we can and get paid doing it  There are money companies out there that will finance a good production.  We have talented people in our group, let's see where this deal takes us.

Well I've been toying with this idea since before PorcFest.? Our MN crew shot over 30 hours of wide screen video in and around NH during PorcFest week, and I'm busy editing it right now.? Will end up being a FSP promo piece, and maybe a documentary (may need to come out and shoot some more in NH for that).? We already have a production company set up (Gray Champion Productions - see Nat Hawthorne for name reference ;) ).? For future productions, we're thinking about more documentary work on real-life liberty stories, some action/adventure genre based on liberty (we've got a comic book themed thingie we're working on that I can't tell you about yet as the creators will shoot me if I do, but it is really cool...), and of course, porn (we've got to pay the bills somehow ;D).

We are like all independent film companies; tons of great ideas, lots of talented crew, and absolutely no money (actually we have negative money? :'( ).? I'm always interested, however, in hearing about more great ideas, talking with and perhaps collaborating with other talented filmmakers and other talented people (especially porn actors/actresses), and of course, I always have time to talk to financial backers!? ;D

Hi Klaus, I met you at Porcfest. We chatted on Sunday. I am the Shakespeare fellow. I believe I have some ideas that can make money so that we can afford the ideas that might not make money.
I have a friend who wrote a play that the new Arts Festival will probably do next year when it starts up. This play would make a fantastic video! If we have the company in place, with a talented crew, I think we could purchase the movie rights from him.
Also have another fellow who wants to move to NH for freedom who is interested in a production company.
We need to talk more about this.

Would it make any sense to start right now [Production Company] and do a film interview of  the people who have been divided up by our government in New Orleans.  Remember people if you want to get rid of a group of people you divide them up.  Now they are not as strong when they are not as one.  What could we call this - How to clean up  a City. [Your Government In Action !!]  Does any one have a camera !!!!!  Something tells me if done right we could be on our way.

Anyone Interested - there is money out there - I know.  We just need some people.
