Hey all. This is a Yahoo Group called the Monadnock Freedom Forum. The describe themselves thus:

The Monadnock Freedom Forum, of Keene, New Hampshire (USA) acclaims the ideals of human freedom and democracy contained in the Declaration of Independence and the Constitution of the United States and its Bill of Rights. These ideals, articulated by our forefathers, belong to all humankind. Our mission is to educate citizenry in ageless truths of freedom and democracy, successes and failures of our time in putting these ideals into practice, and constructive options for action. We welcome all individuals who seek this information. The Monadnock Freedom Forum is a non-profit organization. Monadnock Freedom Forum provides this Yahoo groups forum for citizen communication but does not necessarily endorse opinions expressed or events listed, other than the Monadnock Freedom Forum events.

I joined the Yahoo Groups at http://groups.yahoo.com/group/monadnockfreedomforum/

You all should too. We can get some *real* constitutional information out to these people.

I was hoping for some lively discussion on their forum! How can that happen without you Russell? You are the KING of lively!

Did you read the message that the board of directors wrote about their stand on the UN?  They obviously don't know ANYTHING about the UN, or about liberty issues at all.  But, you know something...I WAS one of them not so long ago.  I was a member of the Ignorant Party! :P

Indeed! This is why I think we should join and inform them! Sure, I could stay on the list and tell you guys about developments, but then they remain ignorant.

Good idea, influence them from within.  That's what saboteurs have done to the LP for years.  Let's make it work for us.

Perhaps a Democrat or Republican porc can join their respective groups, and work on them from the inside as well..

I think we should invite them to any anti-patriot act or pro-legalization events however, they are probably rock solid on those issues from a libertarian's perspective.
