I'll might try to make it. Will have to leave in time to get back for at least a half-day's work, so can't promise anyone a ride I guess.

I'm not planning on staying all day, so maybe we can go together.

I lucked in NH for the same charge.
Coming back from the first Liberty Forum, drunk, and in the passenger seat of a sober driver, with an open beer can in a box of closed ones, we got pulled over.

I answered every request with: "Am I required to?"  When I was cited and given a court date, I intended to at least get the officer to admit I asked the question when he instructed me to give him my Social Security Number.

I lucked out, because on the court date the judge was a witness in other case, and the prosecutor suspended my sentance.  My nice suit, pleasent demeanor, and the fact that I drove from RI all helped.

I never got to ask the cop about his answer that I was required as a passenger to procure my SSN for him.

Also note:  I asked for all the paperwork from the prosecutor and they actually had a sample of the original beer as evidence.

Libertine we will be unable to come be with you at your "trial". Significant snow on the mountain, we won't be able to safely drive out of here that early tomorrow.

Becky, William and I are disappointed, good luck, we are pulling for you (as much as we can from a distance). :)

We are having the most beautiful snowfall as well. I wish, since wishes are free, that we could all be partying together; raucous music, dancing, carousing, and having a helluva good time . . .

I'm really gonna miss you all, but will delight in knowing you're safely ensconced in your hilltop lair! Thank you for letting me know, and I really hope to see you all soon. I'm a missing that President, and Becky, some dice play has got to be in the works soon!

Hope this goes well. I have to go deliver the "we will record" pledge to the Legislature tomorrow, otherwise I'd be there.

Is there anybody who is going?  Somebody should be there--and just think how glad they'd be to see us!
Really, if anybody's going from Keene, please contact me.  It's a hell of a walk in this weather!

Would still like to be there--"Hang together or hang separately," and all that . . .
What's a "da kine"?

Sam, I'd love it if you could be there, and I completely agree with the solidarity concept. It works, especially here.

Da kine, Hawaiian slang for just about anything; maybe 'thing' is the best word to use. I miss my home sometimes . . . but not too much. It feels sweet to use the words . . .
