Yeah, I got arrested and I wasn't even protesting anything!

I was working out of state and was returning 4 days after my inspection sticker expired. The next AM I was heading to the inspection station and was stopped and ticketed.

Trying to stay organized I put the ticket in a folder for "car inspection" and promptly forgot it. As time went on, I missed the response date, any hearing, any letter informing me I was to be suspended (went to old address) and the day after my license and registration suspension went into effect, I got arrested in Bedford, cuffed, car towed, cruisered to the station, booked, bailed, given a ride home by Porc friends (I was on the phone with a fellow porc when the bust went down), mooched rides all weekend. It was a Friday night and I couldn't get my issues cleared up til Monday and get my car back. Still can't find the rest of my key ring they seized  >:(

Boy am I pissed, since when I was arrested, the inspection sticker was valid and ON the windshield, all according to Hoyle.

Oh yeah, hearing in Milford District Court on the 24th of February. I'm pretty embarrassed, since it was due to my neglect and I'm not an "inspection sticker protester", in spite of the bogusness of it - just haven't chosen this battle, but once it's thrust upon me....

Damn. Yet another battle that came to us. Might signify a trend. What are your plans for their trial?

I was (BTW) ticketed quite recently, and I am having a very hard time trying to figure how I'll handle the thugs accusation/attempted theaft.
BTW, I wasn't even doing what the state cop says - - - but that seems quite besides the point.
They've got LOTS AND LOTS of GUNS, CHAINS, and CAGES.  I'm just a man who has harmed no one.

If I go to there jaol I may NEVER get out.

Either all my friends are  outlaws or we live in a police state ... maybe some of both

You will have to pay for your past sins (I mean temporary lack of paperwork).

Since this has not been an issue you were fighting them on (me too ... it is easier  to not pay income taxes than to drive around without gov plates ... and the little sticker) ... what will you do now?

I stopped attacking the bear a year or 2 ago, since it keeps finding us. I guess we have a few younger guys stepping on its toes, but most of us are being sought out by the thugs or constantly getting pulled over. They are not ignoring us.

ive tried to get the leo's to ignore me all my life but we just keep crossing paths , even when i just stay home.  we definitly are a police state but not as bad as some and worse than others but thanx to the free staters i see a chink in the states armor it's the feds that scare me they are much more devious and less caring about peoples rights than your nornal small town cop in NH.  im fairly happy with the  2 in my town but i keep to myself and we don't talk much.the stateys are in the middle most of them seem to be pricks with ears but still not feds....

Not sure yet. On one hand there's fight it and have almost no chance of winning the case itself... then there's just pay the money and move on. I'll discuss strategy over on Tea Party, but I can lay out what I've learned about how the system works here for info.
