School Board? Select Board? City Council? Budget Committee?

It'd be neat to "track" who runs, who wins, etc. so that others planning to move and/or run can see how it's done, or see that it is being done...

Unless there's already a "chart" of some sort that shows that...

This is why we need a politics outhouse section. That way people have a place to take a crap and don't just crap all over the board. Also, if someone doesn't make it to the outhouse politics section in time, and craps their pants, so to speak, the mess can be moved by a moderator into the shitter politics section.

Joey, this is the underground, primarily for those who conduct CD, and, if I'm not mistaken, most of us don't believe in the "system" as a workable solution for the dissolution of same.  (if you happen to troll back here and wonder why the responses to your post, this is the remedial answer)

To answer the original question, yes. I'm running for the planning board.  Why? Because even though I don't think we need a planning board...there is one presently.  What will I do if I win? Not much. I don't "plan" to tell anyone what to do with their property.  It's THEIR property. I plan to occupy a bureaucrats seat so a bureaucrat can't. I see that as an incremental gain for liberty.  Now hold on anarchist smarty pants types...before I am dismissed as a statist, many of you know, I support civil disobedience, it is a good way to show people that  victimless crime laws are unjust etc.  I also support political activism to reduce government. From my perspective, it's all good if it promotes freedom. If I had a magic wand I would wave it and we'd have a voluntary society, unfortunately I don't have a magic wand, neither do any of you.  Until one is found I'm for using all methods to bring about "change".  (sorry couldn't resist)

If elected I promise not to let the power go to my head and run for EMPEROR or anything like that...honest.  For those who don't vote...cool. For those who do, I'd appreciate it if you'd vote for me and Rosalie B. for the planning board.
