to peel them first?

I mean, aren't they suppose to be good for you?

I don't peel potatoes.  I just wash them thoroughly and cut out any dirt that got poked into them.  I rarely stick to a recipe, and would think that not peeling the potatoes would be just a recipe modification, and no big deal.

Don't matter to me as long as you either
fry then or cover them up with a lot of
good stuff like sour cream and bacon
afterwords.  ;D

Modern potatoes are highly genetically engineered.  They don't have the tough skin now that they had 40 years ago... around the time that Lloyd passed 100.  They also changed the regulation, about 1999 I think, you no longer have to go to hell for not pealing your potatoes.

You still have to go to hell if you don't peal your carrots.

First it's unpeeled potatoes, then it leads to unpeeled carrots. Clearly there is a connection your honor, unpeeled potatoes are a gateway to unpeeled carrots and that's why we need a law!   :P

I need a stove pipe hat... that's real authority.

And the buttons. The stovepipe hat by itself isn't enough. Look at Lincoln.
