*sigh*  With the economy going down, these events are going to become more common place.  With the current political situation, our rights are also going to be going away. 

What do you think we can do to maintain our rights and not let them get squashed in the name of 'social justice' or whatever they want to call it?

This on top of the AL/CA shooting last night; NY, WA, this week...etc..etc  it seems like there is now 1-2 shootings a day that make the MSM.

Of course they still never report the shootings where someone defended themselves, but that could be due to the fact that the victim of the criminal has a lawyer telling them not to speak to the press...

I don't know if crime is going up, although I wouldn't be surprised.  But shootings (although not in Northern New England) are a pretty common thing in the US.  It's nothing I'm concerned with.  I'm just glad I don't live in a neighborhood where shootings happen anymore.

Yeah I can see that.  I'm from there and when you say "gun" people don't get it.  I'm using this as a reason to be MORE armed...  to protect myself MORE...  the cops won't, can't, and have no duty, to protect anyone.  I trust my own judgment and I really don't give a blow hole what the MSM or anyone says about it.

That's the important part: that they "make the MSM".

These shootings, over the course of a year or decade, will barely be a statistical blip, if that. They get snowball coverage: one gets covered because the last one got covered, and the next one will get even more coverage, even though normally they would only be reported locally or maybe statewide.
