We have The Singing Revolution - a most excellent movie about the downfall of communism in various Baltic countries.  Great example of how non-violent revolution can take place.

April 11th, starting about 6 - after the sled race and picnic at Sunapee.

To be viewed on the big screen TV at the farm in the Shire.

Sheesh, a lot is happening this Saturday!

Can we assume that this will be Barskey'd?

Mike Barskey

Unfortunately (or fortunately, depending on how you're using "barskey") not. I already made another commitment in Northwood.

Well, that was before I knew about the cardboard sled thing at Mt. Sunapee, so then I planned to go to that in the morning then Northwood in the afternoon. But now, maybe I'll go to Northwood in the morning and the Shire in the afternoon/evening. What time do you think you'll start the movie? Although I'd rather hang out with y'all than watch a movie. Hmmm.

Sam A. Robrin

I just ran across that movie on a website yesterday.  For some obscure reason, the topic interested me . . .  Don't know how I'd get there, but I want to see that one soon!

I think people could hang out in the dining room and talk if they're not interested in the movie.

Sheesh, a lot is happening this Saturday!
in the beginning of the fsp movement some people would go to every event
then no one could get to them all (except maybe Bender)
then it was impossible to go to half of them (but Barskey tried)
now you can't even know about them all or report on them like we and ridley try to do
next you won't be able to go to most of the events in your town :)

the event will be Barskeyed ... we just don't know what that will mean

Russell Kanning

the sledding happens at 1pm

we  will start the movie at 6 here, so people can leave fairly early if they want.
The movie is not fast paced or hard to follow ... we could talk during it. Although I had better promise to keep it down so Kat will not get sore at me. I have seen her powers as the queen of the Shire.

That is an fantastic trend, despite my failed efforts to attend half of the events I knew about. :)
