Unfortunately, it's my last night in Grafton at the vastly beautiful Animal Farm. Tomorrow I head out to Chicago on my way back home to Hawaii. I want to thank all of you for being so wonderful, but in particular I want to thank Kat, Kira, and Russell for being a family-away-from-family. I would like to thank Kira especially for being an amazing friend; open, honest, loving, and always available, I'll miss you. Lauren and Jim for being so down to earth, and just so darn likable and fun! Elizabeth, Roger, and William for being great support and loving friends; you're one of the best families I've ever encountered, I hope to see you all again soon. Mike Barskey for all the...fun? Wow, my most amazing experiences with police and in court all revolved around you, thanks!!  ;D Ryan and Kellie, it was always so nice to be with you, thanks for all the friendship. PatK, I'll never look at bacon the same way.  ;)  William and Amy, you've been so dear, thank you. Dalebert, I look forward to reading your comics from the Pacific! Lloyd and Silent Bob, thank you for the great digs.

You're all a most wonderful bunch; my landing was bumpy but the vacation was great! I'll miss you each and every one.

Don't be a stranger.    :)

I can't be a stranger, 'cause I'm sure your mom told you not to talk to them!

I missed you folks not being here on Saturday.  :'( And that means I'll just have to come back to see you!!
Sending you a bone-crushing hug!!  ;D

It's going to be a bit darker in new hampshire now, but it will still be warm in those places that remind me of you. :flower:

Come back and visit us as soon as you're ready and able!

Pat K

I will offer up a sacrifice to the Bacon Gods for
your safe travel.

Take care of you and yours.

Also try to endure Hawaii after the winter in Grafton
I sure it will be hell, but your tough.  ;D

You will be greatly missed, Libertine. I hope everything with the move goes smoothly.

And thank you for all the fun. I learned a lot about myself, thanks to you, and with your help I changed a bit in ways I had been wanting to.

Let us know when you start up the Free Island Project.

It was nice meeting you.  I didn't realize you were only here on vacation.  Any plans to move permanently?

Hi Libertine!

It was great to have met you and I hope everything goes great where you are going!  :D

Ha, ha, you're the best Pat K! Your sacrifice must have worked so far, as William and I are safely ensconced in the magnificent home of Jerry and Barbara. What an incredible evening we had after a long day on the road. Free-staters totally rock!

And, yes, surviving a New Hampshire winter definitely prepared me for a summer in Hawaii. ;D You know you're always welcome.

Mike, that's just wonderful, I'm so glad you feel that way. Thank you for providing me with the very same kinds of change. And, hey, the Free Island Project, that's a fabulous idea!! Think anyone would want to move to Hawaii?  ;)

Oh, Ian, it was great to meet you too! I wasn't there on vacation, I was being flippant, and probably a bit ironic with some sarcasm thrown in. I had moved to NH with my boyfriend/partner, but . . . (insert <adjective> story here). So, as my daughter is missing me, and it didn't work out for her to move to NH right now, I'm going back until she finishes school and decides what to do. While I don't know the when, a return is definitely in the works.

Rainey! It was great to meet you and your family. I hope to see you again, as well. I should warn you that now is not the time to go to Grafton, as the ponds are absolutely full of hundreds, perhaps millions, of peepers!!  ;D
